Many of Bobby's friends knew he wished to live to see his first grandchild born. Bobby saw him in an untrasound before he died but did not make it to the birth. Bennett Cole Wilkins was born premature (3 lbs, 5 Oz.) on August 31, 2004 - four days after Bobby passed from us. Here is one of the first pictures of Bennett. Maybe Bobby has internet up there:

He built a very efficient organization which will miss him but carry on due to his planning and dedication. Bobby was a member of the "Three Pines" country club. He was an avid golfer with at times a 5 handicap. He loved the sport and his golfing buddies. Bobby was a founding member of the IRRSO, The International Registry of Radiation Safety Officers. He was a Navy veteran of the Viet Nam War. Bobby was a Baptist

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 29th, 2004, at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, South Carolina. Reverend Michael McConnell will conduct the services with Reverend Frank Keels. Bobby started his career at Cryovac in the Radiation Engineering Group in January 1974. Many of us have known him for all of the 30+ years we had with him at Cryovac. Bobby endeared all around him. Few pass our way like Bobby. Bobby, thanks for the time we had with you. It means so much to all of us.

We will miss you, Bobby, and your friendship.

"Go with God, friend."
